September 11, 2016 marks the 68th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, which is being observed with due solemnity and reverence across the nation.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad, provincial ministers and other officials visited the Quaid’s Mausoleum on Sunday to pay homage to the founder. They offered Fateha and laid floral wreaths on his grave.
Special seminars and ceremonies are planned at different organisations and educational institutions to pay tribute to the Quaid.
Quaid-e-Azam passed away on this day in 1948 shortly after achieving independence for Pakistan.
