IGP orders high security arrangements for Eidul Azha

Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja on Monday chaired a meeting on law and order situation in the province and Eidul Azha security arrangement plan.

The meeting was attended by all additional IGs and DIGs via video conferencing facility.

The Sindh IGP along with the police officials arranged the security plan for Eidul Azha, assessed the police security measurements and issued more necessary orders in this regard. Khawaja said the police officials should strictly implement discipline during Eid.

He issued instructions about the prevention of cattle skin snatching and instructed police officials to bring law into action in this regard. He said that the officials should focus on the places of Eid prayers, sacrifices and cattle skin collection.

The Sindh IGP added that security of superhighways, markets, shopping centres, sensitive installations, important government and non-government buildings and five star hotels should be tighten up as per Eid security plan.
