Rs5b allocated for capital’s beautification: Minister

Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given Rs five billion package for the beautification and environment protection of federal capital territory.

Planting a sapling at Saidpur village on Monday, the minister said that our capital is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world and it will be turned into a model city.

He said environment protection will be made part of syllabus in order to create awareness among children about climate change.

The minister said that 300,000 saplings will be planted in Islamabad during the monsoon plantation campaign.
