Parts of Karachi received heavy rain Saturday (today) and gusty winds blew in the port city turning the weather pleasant.
Malir, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, University Road and Shahrah-e-Faisal received heavy rain.
Rain also gripped parts of New Karachi, North Karachi and North Nazimabad.
In Gadap, the roof of a house collapsed resulting in the death of a child while three people have been injured.
The Met Department had forecast thunderstorms in Karachi over the weekend.
