PCB condoles death of scorer Hameed

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar M Khan, Executive Committee Chairman Najam Sethi and Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad have offered their heartfelt condolences over passing away of Abdul Hameed, senior scorer, who died due to a heart attack.

The deceased was associated with the board for the last 27 years and was known as a well-respected scorer among the cricketing circles.

In a message to his family, the PCB chairman said on Friday: “We are with Abdul Hameed’s family at this hour of grief,” he said.

“The PCB’s top tier management and its entire staff, match referees, umpires and scorers pray to Almighty to bestow the departed soul with eternal peace and grant the family and the dear ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” said the PCB spokesman.
