The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Quetta seized 965 kg heroin while carrying out an intelligence-led operation at Pishin.
The drug consignment was stocked at an uninhabited site situated in the area of Shin Tangi, District Pishin.
As per preliminary reports, the heroin consignment was placed at cache site for handing over to another narcotics gang on receipt of safe signal, for further dispatch to some unidentified destination. The worth of the seized drug is Rs. 6.4 billion in international market.
A case has been registered at respective ANF Police Station and further investigations are underway.
