ANF arrests airhostess smuggling gold on New York-bound PIA flight

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday arrested an airhostess who was trying to smuggle gold to New York from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

The air-hostess Nuzhat Bukhari was deployed on duty on New York-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.

Her luggage was searched before boarding the flight from which two kilogrammes gold was recovered.

ANF personnel seized the gold and took the woman into custody whereas further interrogation has also been initiated.
