Armed men gunned down a PTI candidate for the post of chairmanship of union council on Saturday.
Police said that armed men opened fire at PTI candidate for chairman from UC-33 Lahore, Tanveer Ahmed leaving him critically injured and fled from the scene.
The injured succumbed to his wounds while being shifted to hospital. The body was handed over to heirs after postmortem.
