Nine terrorists have been killed in an aerial and ground operation of security forces in Rajgal area of Khyber Agency.
Pakistan Army carried out an operation in Khyber Agency Rajgal area, killing nine terrorists and destroying six hideouts along with ammunition and weapons, ISPR said in a statement.
The Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Friday visited frontline troops busy in operations along Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency.
The Army Chief was given a detailed briefing on the progress of operations and gains consolidated so far.

Showing satisfaction over the progress of the operation, Gen. Raheel Sharif appreciated the highest state of morale and professionalism shown in fighting terrorists of various organisations hiding in the most rugged terrain.
Last week, Pakistan’s military killed at least 11 militants in air strikes in the same region as part of an ongoing offensive in Khyber district.
The army offensive is underway in the mountainous terrain of Babar Kachkol, Naray Nao and Tor Sapar areas of Khyber.
Khyber is one of the seven semi-autonomous tribal districts where the military has been fighting Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants for over a decade.
The army launched the “Zarb-e-Azb” operation in June 2014 in a bid to wipe out militant bases in North Waziristan tribal area.
