Sindh Inspector General AD Khawaja Tuesday (today) said that criminals have more advanced training in usage of the modern day technologies than police.

While addressing at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry seminar Sindh IG said that the police lacks in the technology usage skills which makes it difficult to trace the criminals.

“High-profile murders also badly affect the confidence of masses on police. Police are being targeted for gaining ground in the eradication of terrorists’ organisations,” he added.

According to the report issued by Citizens Police Liaison Committee, street crimes have dropped by 24 per cent in last eight months and 80, 000 criminals have been held since 2013.

The IG Sindh said 99 per cent of the citizens do not file a FIR due to which the criminals restart street crimes.

  1. This statement about terrorists being technically advanced shows Mr IG Sindh’s ignorance about how the terrorists and their facilitators operate. They use humans not computers. It is this ignorance that keeps them ahead of Police. And unless this is understood terror attacks will continue.
