Armed men gunned down a cop in Yar Muhammad Colony on Sunday.
He was identified as Badaruddin Junejo and was a gunman of SHO Sartaj Jagirani. According to police, the policeman was standing outside his house located in Yar Muhammad Colony when he was killed over a dispute between two groups of Junejo community. His body was shifted to mortuary of Chandka Medical College Hospital which was handed over to his heirs after fulfilling of legal formalities including postmortem.
Police are probing further as no FIR was registered till filing of this report. SHO Car-Lifting Cell Sartaj Jagirani told reporters that armed men took avenge of criminal Raashid Junejo who was killed sometime back.
