Bilawal slams ‘pre-poll rigging’ in Kashmir polls

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday condemned the alleged ‘pre-poll rigging’ which allegedly took place in Azad Kashmir elections.

According to a statement by PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stole the mandate of the Kashmiri people by using its tactics to rig the elections. He added that his party accepted the resulted for the interests of the people and taking the democratic process of the country forward.

The PPP chairman said that transparent democracy can only be ensured when independent investigation of the Panama Leaks.

Countries are carrying out investigation against their officials named in the scandal whereas presidents and prime ministers have also stepped down,” Bilawal said.
