Rangers conducted a search operation in Dhobi Ghat and its adjoining areas in Lines Area locality of Karachi on Tuesday night on intelligence report and apprehended seven suspects.
All the entry and exit points of the area were sealed before the search operation and Rangers personnel carried out house-to-house search during which seven suspects were detained. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
On the other hand, some unidentified persons opened fire and injured two people in Lines Area. According to police, the injured persons were members of a political party and were identified as Faisal and Govind. Separately, a man named Shahzad was wounded during a robbery attempt in Dalmia area.
