Punjab approves four development schemes worth Rs6.96 billion

Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved four development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 6961.57 million.

The scheme was approved in the fifth meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17.

According to P&DD spokesman, the approved development scheme included augmentation, improvement of Disposal Stations Multan Phase-I at the cost of Rs. 591.000 million, Tribal Area Development Project (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 5790.000 million, Third Party Assessment and Validation of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Program (KPRRP-Phase-III) (Rehabilitation and Construction of (rural) Roads in 09 divisions of Punjab)(PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 127.593 million and rehabilitation of road from Hafizabad (Raja Chowk) to Khanpur (Jalalpur Qadirabad Road) via Kolo Tara, length=22.85 km, District Hafizabad at the cost of Rs. 452.977 million.
