Pakistan Jiu-Jitsu Federation, under the leadership and vision of President Khalil Ahmed Khan, is sending its team to compete in the Asian Beach Championship being held in Sri Lanka from July 28 to August 1.
The Pakistani players under Head Coach Amir Mukhtar will be participating in Jiu-Jitsu show system and Ne-Waza. The current show system team will include, but not limited to, current world silver medalists Mohammad Amar and Abu Hurraira along with Asian Beach Games silver medalist Maryam Jabbar.
The Pakistani Ne-Waza players will include, but not limited to, 2012 Abu Dhabi Pro silver medalist, Jahanzeb Rashad Lone who is also currently ranked 22nd in the world in his division.
When asked, all players thanked the Pakistani federation and president Khalil Ahmed Khan for the opportunity to display their talents on an international platform and reiterated their confidence in the training from their head coach Amir Mukhtar.
