At least two people died and another injured in collision between a trailer and a car on Sunday.
Police said the accident took place at Kotri-Thatta section of Indus Highway where an over-speeding trailer hit a private car. The car was badly damaged in the accident resulting in death of two people while leaving another critically wounded.
The trailer’s driver fled the scene leaving the vehicle by the roadside. The bodies and injured were shifted to Kotri Tahulqa Hospital for medico-legal formalities while the police, after registering a case against the trailer’s driver, started raids for his arrest.
