Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said on Saturday that it was impossible to clear and clean Karachi from trash within three days. It will take two to three months for accomplishing this task, he speculated.
Talking to media persons before his departure to Dubai on Saturday, Qaim Ali Shah said he visited different neighbourhoods and towns within the ever-expanding metropolis to examine the progress made in the mission to clean Karachi.
However, the CM was criticised for visiting only those places where some work had been done and they appeared relatively clean.
“Nobody knew about my route,” the CM said in his defense. “I am going to issue an extension so that work picks up pace and Karachi could be cleaned up,” Shah added. He speculated that two to three months would be required to complete this massive challenge of cleaning the city.
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO C.M. please there is no such thing as impossible, dont you ever forget that you are a public servant. if you had done your job right you wouldnt be in this mess.imagine if instead pile of rubbish it was pile of money or gold would you not able to clear it sooner, because of people like you our Pak watan is so backward. I think people of Pakistan should ask All politicians to come down and clean it all up.Always remember you are public servants, ALLAH O AKBAR………………I LOVE U PAKISTAN………………………….
