A Taxi driver allegedly sodomises a man near the Pishtakhara police station.
The victim was around 20-year- old and was a resident of Karkhano market.
The victim lodged an FIR against the taxi driver. The police registered the case immediately and raided the house of the suspect. He was identified as Menhaj, 40, a resident of Landi Akhun Ahmad.
As per the report, the man had hired a taxi from Karkhano Market. The driver stopped the vehicle near a CNG pump on Ring Road. The suspect forced the man out of the car and took him to an empty plot where he raped him.
“The accused has been arrested in a raid conducted by the Pishtakhara police soon after registering the FIR,” a police officer said. “The victim has been sent for medical examination.”
“We have registered an FIR in the case under Section 377 of the PPC and the matter is being investigated,” he said. The police officer said the incident took place the night before and the FIR was registered on Tuesday.
