The chance of severe floods is high as the water level at Guddu and SukkurBarrages are continuously increasing.

According to details, the upper level of water at Guddu Barrage has exceeded 3,25,000 cusec whereas 2,23,000 cusec water rise has been recorded at Sukkur Barrage.

The low flood is increasing the water level in both the barrages, while the flow of water in Kotri Barrage is normal. More rainfall in the upper catchment areas might increase the volume of Indus River, otherwise the present low flood will subside in the next week.

The flood water has inundated several areas including Pano Akil, Goth Raza and Kashmore.

Hundreds of acres agricultural land have also been affected due to water flow while the adjoining areas of Guddu Barrage are also witnessing the same situation.
