Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has announced to launch an anti-government movement after July 20. He said he would not retreat from his stance of investigation into Panama Leaks.

Talking to media at the party’s Chairman Secretariat, Khan said the protest movement would continue until the accountability of the prime minister is carried out.  Imran Khan said he offered himself for accountability first.

He said corruption of the prime minister has been proved in Panama Leaks, and added that if the prime minister is not held accountable then every thief and dacoit in the country would go scot free.  He claimed that corruption, money laundering and tax evasion caused maximum losses to Pakistan while the prime minister thinks there is democracy in the country.  This is not democracy but monarchy, he said.

He said he has directed Khyber Pakhtnkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak to call meeting of the apex committee to bring an end to sectarian tension. The PTI chairman said that 20,000 students in religious institutions must be brought to the national mainstream. As far as grant to the seminaries is concerned, it is purely the discretion of the KP government and they are answerable for it, he said.
