Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Tuesday said that the biggest political party of Karachi (MQM) is being pushed to the wall, adding that even the valid complaints of the party are not being addressed.

While addressing a press conference, Sattar said that MQM is the biggest stakeholder in Karachi. He further said that the party has been expressing its concerns for few months but they are not being addressed.

He said that an unannounced ban is placed over the party’s social and political activities, adding that the party workers feel alienated in the entire situation and enquired, “What would become of the people if their basic rights get curbed?”

Sattar said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and Sindh corps commander should take notice of the ban over developmental works.

  1. Farooq Sattar should recall his mental condition when he was to be eliminated instead another person ,I can’t recollect his name, was put to sword. This was in the 90s. He has survived since. That poor soul was killed on orders of Altaf Hussain as was Qadri in Liaquatabad.
