Bid to damage railway tracks in Kandhkot foiled

A major terror bid in interior Sindh was foiled on Sunday when police arrested at least two terrorists belonging to a banned organisation and recovered explosive material from their possession.

According to Kashmore SSP Fida Hussain, five kilogrammes of explosive material was recovered from the arrested terrorists who were planning to damage the railway tracks near Kandhkot.

The police further informed that the arrested terrorists are associates of a key operative of a banned outfit Sadiq Badshah.

The police and intelligence agencies are conducting raids to arrest Badshah and his other accomplices.
