Mehmood Achakzai, a member of our parliament has given an interview to the Afghanistan Times and has said that KPK does not belong to Pakistan. It belongs to the Afghanis.
This man has obviously patriotism issues or he is on the payroll of RAW or outrightly he is under the influence of some controlled substance. Whatever he is tripping on, let him, but for him to make such a statement being a Pakistani citizen and on top of it, being a sworn member of our parliament where he has sworn his allegiance to Pakistan, how can he even dare to make such a comment.
Where are Imran Khan and his entire PTI, the flag bearers of KPK? What happened to their Pakhtun izzat? Where is it? Where is PML-N the party who enjoys full support of Achakzai ? Where are all the other politicians coming on TV every night and fighting to hide their corruption. Do they have any sense of shame to hear such a comment and stay quiet? Where are all the so called journalists quite at this highest act of treason towards Pakistan?
I demand that the election commission take notice of this and cancel his parliamentary seat. I demand that the anchors of current issues take on this real issue where a so called Pakistani in enemy territory giving interviews and giving away part of our country, albeit, verbally. To be very fair, had this come from a MQM leader, the whole world would have created a ruckus all day long. I don’t belong to MQM but what is good for goose should also be good for the gander.
Shame on you Achakzai, Shame on your stance. And shame on all the political parties who are not taking any action.
