A spokesperson of LCCI has said that India was spending over Rs 15 billion on anti-KBD lobby in Pakistan annually, because it knew the dam would bring about a revolution in agriculture and industry in Pakistan.
Not only is it a waste of time talking about some unknown people who may or may not exist, this line of thinking diverts attention from the people who miss no opportunity to talk against KBD,
Qaim Ali Shah has said repeatedly in Sindh assembly that KBD will never be built; he got it removed from the list of National Dam Protection Projects. Nisar Khurro, also of the Sindh assembly, says Kalabagh dam is Kalanag dam and a danger to Sindh.
Wali Khan had said that he would dynamite KBD if it was built, his son is now following in his footsteps; he has Haji Adeel and many others with him.
Does it make any sense that we let these people go around saying what they like about Kalabagh dam misleading people with wrong facts and figures, and spend our time looking for the elusive Indian lobby?
