The name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son, Hassan Nawaz is missing from the Sharif’s family tree in the National Database and Registration Authority’s (NADRA) record.
According to reports, NADRA’s record indicated that Kulsoom Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz are part of the Sharif’s family tree, while the name of Hassan is missing.
The revelations come a week after Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar gave final approval to re-verification drive of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) to be launched on July 1.
The multi-pronged strategy comprises data analysis schemes for verification, including across-the-board fraud detection and mathematical modelling, utilisation of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s data for identification of aliens, amnesty scheme, helpline and detection of family tree intrusion through SMS.
The re-verification drive was announced following a revelation that Mullah Akhtar Mansour had been using fake Pakistani CNIC and passport for his international travelling. A Pakistani CNIC and a passport were found a few yards away from the wreckage of the vehicle in which the Taliban leader was killed in a drone strike in Balochistan.
The process undertaken to collect, compile and organize the collected data is referred to as data analysis. Click here secondary data analysis
