Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says the government is committed to defeating the evil forces for establishing lasting peace in the country.
He was talking to media after offering condolence to the family of slain Qawwal Amjad Sabri in Karachi on Sunday.
The minister said the assassination of Amjad Sabri had reaffirmed the government’s resolve against terrorists. He said the evil forces attacked the forces of virtue, and the former is destined to face annihilation.
Paying tribute to the services of Amjad Sabri, Pervaiz Rashid said he spread the message of love of peace across the world through his voice. Earlier, the information minister, on the direction of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, visited social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi in Karachi.
He inquired after the health of Abdul Sattar Edhi and presented bouquet to him on behalf of the prime minister. Talking to media persons, he said Abdul Sattar Edhi projected the image of Pakistan as a human loving country across the world.
