Recently President Mamnoon Hussain announced the imminent release of more than 500 prisoners at central jail Adiyala and other jails of Rawalpindi, on the eve of Eid-Ul-Fitr. According to the jail sources, the government has decided to release the prisoners who committed small crimes. The list of the prisoners is being prepared and they would receive reward for their good behaviour at jail. One side, I appreciate the government for releasing the small criminals, that they could celebrate the Eid-Ul-Fitr with their families. But on the other side, it is a negative step: these criminals can again repeat their bad works, to create more problems for the public and police. I would like to request the concern authorities to take serious actions, so that no one could face problems and no one should be harm by these criminals.
