Urdu Bazaar Traders Association (UBTA) President Khalid Pervez Friday said that Urdu Bazaar and other attached markets would remain closed on Ramzan 21 on account of Youm-e-Ali.
He told APP that the decision was made during a meeting, attended by representatives of various traders associations.
Meanwhile, DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf told APP that the security SOP of Muharram would be followed for the central procession of Youm-e-Ali.
Foolproof security would also be ensured on the eve of Youm-ul-Quds and Juma-tul-Widaa, he added.
