The lawyers’ community on Friday boycotted court proceedings to protest the kidnapping of Owais Ali Shah, the son of Sindh High Court (SHC) chief justice.
The lawyers boycotted court proceedings in the sessions’ courts, Aiwan-e-Adl, Model Town courts, Cantt courts, banking courts and the Lahore High Court.
The strike was observed on the call of Pakistan Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council.
