Hazara Shia leader’s brother abducted in Balochistan

Abdul Ali Hazara, brother of Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) Chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara, was on Thursday night abducted from Quetta.

The abductee is a well-known coal agent who was abducted from outside Regal Plaza as he arrived at his office, said family sources. Eyewitnesses said that eight armed men grabbed hold of Abdul Ali Hazara, his driver and a servant, and whisked them away.

The driver and the servant were later dropped off near Dasht, however, the kidnappers took away Abdul Ali Hazara with them.

Hazara’s relatives said that he had no enmity. The motive behind his kidnapping is yet to be ascertained.
