KARACHI – The authorities on Wednesday extended the powers of rangers for three more months due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the city.
According to a private TV, Sindh Home Department has issued an extension notification on the directives of the Sindh government.
According to the powers, rangers can carry out operations in any areas and make arrests.
Owing to the deteriorating situation in Sindh’s capital, rangers in Karachi were given special powers a few months ago.
