Imran Abbas and Naveen Waqar will be appearing in Sakina Samo’s upcoming short film, Musafir.
According to reports, it has been shot in Pakistan and will be primarily shown abroad at film festivals.
While talking about her role Naveen said, “The character I’m playing is of a girl who suffers from severe depression and is suicidal.”
She further added, “The movie is about life and how people that you least expect can give you hope for a brighter future. I found the script just beautiful when Sakina offered it to me.”
Currently, Waqar says she’s also working on another project called Deewar Bhi Nahi, with Ahsan Khan and Emmad Irfani, which will be screened after Eid.
Musafir will be released sometime by the end of this year. Until then, the actress is reading scripts and on the lookout for something different to catch her eye.
