No respite in Karachi violence as 6 more killed

KARACHI – At least six more people were gunned down in Karachi in various incidents of targeted killings on Tuesday. Bodies of five people were recovered from various parts of the city. A 30-year-old man, Aamir Ali, was found dead in Korangi No 6.
Awami Colony police said the victim was a worker of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H Afaq). The body of 35-year-old Ziaullah was found from Fauji Fertilizer Company, Shah Latif Town. Another body was found near Degree College, Korangi No 6. A teenager was found dead near Al-Karam Square, Sharifabad. Police said the victim was a professional dacoit.
A 30-year-old man identified as Naseem was gunned down by unidentified armed men in Surjani, Sector 7-C. Separately, 30-year-old Azam was stabbed to death in Methadar.
