Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had made a wise decision by allocating Rs 300 million for Darul Uloom Haqqania madrassa.

In an interview with a private news channel, Imran Khan said the funds and support will help the madrassa students assimilate in society and keep them away from radicalisation.

Imran elaborated that when the Taliban were opposing the anti-polio campaign in the province and were killing polio workers, Maulana Samiul Haq, who heads the Darul Uloom Haqqania and is widely known as the Father of Afghan Taliban, supported him and launched a polio-immunisation campaign.

  1. This is state sponsored terrorism…this madrassah is well known as a source of terrorist mindset…wake up…the head of it is the father of the taliban…home grown terrorists on the way…

  2. The public money is being spent on Talibanization in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The establishment, government and politicians are not sincere in National Action Programme. Pakistan has become a launching pad for killings, terror and bigotry.

  3. It is the fourth point of National Action Plan that “financial sources of terrorists and terrorists organization will be cut” Isn’t it a violation of National Action Plan?
