Karachi lawyers observe strike against abduction of SHC CJ’s son

Karachi lawyers have observing strike against abduction of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Owais Ali Shah. 

Sindh Bar Council Vice-Chairman Salahuddin has condemned the incident, saying that it is not less than a tragedy that a chief justice’s son could be abducted in a city like Karachi.

Karachi Bar Association President Mehmoodul Hassan has followed the suit and announced strike in city courts. Lawyers have boycotted all the legal proceedings.

Secretary General of the bar among others have demanded immediate recovery of son of the chief justice.

According to SHC CJ family, Owais went to Super Market in Clifton area and did not return.

  1. What are the limits of the sky ? We are living here in Pakistan like people of Nigeria. A former PM's son, former Governor's son and now Sind HC CJ son, abducted. Daring are the criminals – unafraid of the LEAs. It is the society to blame that we are living in. What about a common man ?

  2. the result of years of supporting fanatics who can justify anything in the name of Islam..Pakistan has creates a lawless society where claims of religion are above the law…your self made problems of mixing religion with politics have come to fruition and you must now live with them…you can blame the mullahs and religio/politicians for this…
