Glad I’m not stereotyped anymore: Sunny Leone

It has been five years since she was introduced as the former adult star on controversial reality show Bigg Boss. Sunny has appeared in 15 Indian films since then (including guest appearances) but the industry mostly looked at her as an adult star, not an actor. The perception seems to be changing now, Sunny claimed.

“Initially I was perceived in a certain way. But now I can proudly say that people have accepted me and are approaching me for good work. I am glad that I am not stereotyped in the industry,” Sunny said.

Sunny, who made her Bolly wood debut with the erotic thriller Jism 2 in 2012 went on to do films, Ragini MMS 2, Ek Paheli Leela and many more.She was seen in an item number in Luv U Alia that hit theatres on June 17. The film is based on divorce issues and Sunny feels that such problems are definitely on the rise these days.

“Divorce is definitely on the rise these days due to high levels of stress. Without patience and trust, it’s extremely difficult for a couple to cope with the pressures. My husband and I are very clear on the kind of relationship that we want and hence there’s a lot of love, respect and admiration for each other.”she said.
