A brawl erupted between the two groups in the city courts on Saturday.
According to the SHO city court police station, an accused, Kabeer, was brought to the court for identification. His relatives and supporters of the applicant exchanged heated words which turned into a physical fight. The SHO stated that some women, their lawyers and children joined the fight. The police reached the scene to control the situation. He added that both the parties had submitted their applications and further probe was under way.
