LAHORE – Various organizations of teachers community staged a protest demonstration for the demands of pay raise and other benefits, here in front of Press Club on Monday. The protesters were carrying placards and banners were chanting slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing the gathering Muhammad Nasir and others urged the government’s concerned authorities for giving proper benefits to the teachers. They demanded of the government to increase the pay package of the teaching staff of different cadre so that they could discharge their duties in a proper manner.
The protesters also staged sit in in favour of their demands.
