Blast near former KP CM Ameer Hoti’s residence leaves one injured

A passerby was injured Thursday (today) in an explosion outside the residence of former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti in Mardan.

According to the police, the bomb had been planted in front of Hoti’s house in an umbrella at a traffic police checkpost at Akbar Phatak.

Bomb Disposal Squad personnel said 500 grams of explosives were used in the making of the bomb.

The blast left one passerby injured who was shifted to DHQ Hospital Mardan, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Operations Mardan Safiullah Gandapur.

Following the incident, police arrived at the site and conducted a search operation in the area.

  1. occasional incidents such as this blast indicates something different if,Foreign hands involved in such incidents ,then it should be done in early hours of the day with ensured destruction and lost of lives,to create impact,and terror ize the general public.

    This seems to be a local hands just to vent out his vengeance,for certain reasons.ex CM house selected for better media coverage,No intention of loss of life was intended.
