A court in Karachi on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of Haleema’s murder case till today (Wednesday). The hearing of the case was held by Judicial Magistrate South Durre Shahwar Junejo.
Murder suspect Rizwan’s wife Sonia was presented in the court whereas her mother and five-year-old daughter Jannat Gul were also present in the court. However, the investigation officer did not reach the court and Rizwan was also not presented by the jail authorities. The court expressed displeasure over the absence of the investigation officer. The judge while issuing show cause notices to investigation officer and jail authorities adjourned the hearing. She also directed to present Rizwan in the court on next hearing.
