Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Senator Saleem Zia met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, party affairs and political situation of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that the PML-N government led by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is making serious efforts to resolve all problems facing the country. He said that collective efforts are needed for the progress and prosperity of the country, adding that the Punjab government has promoted national solidarity, brotherhood and harmony by including students of all provinces in its educational programmes.
He said that there is no room for negative politics in Pakistan and added that the nation rejected in general elections and local bodies elections those who level baseless allegations. The chief minister said that PML-N is free from corruption and a new example has set by saving Rs. 215 billion in development projects. Senator Saleem Zia also congratulated the chief minister on the successful operation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
