LAHORE – University of Central Punjab won the All Pakistan Inter-varsity Hockey Championship, beating Government College University in the final here at the National Hockey Stadium on Monday. University of Central Punjab converted two goals and did not let their rivals cross their 25 yards zone. Hasan and Aziz were the scorers.
Meanwhile, Peshawar University beat Superior University 5-3 to secure third place in the championship. PHF selection committee member Arshad Chaudhary was the chief guest while Director Sports Punjab University Dr Zafar Rashid was also present on the occasion.
