LAHORE – Heavy rain and hailstorm was witnessed at various parts of Lahore on Monday. Roads of Lahore again became white by the hailstorm whereas citizens were pleasantly surprised by the heavy rain, thunderstorm and hailstorm in the city. Motorcyclists faced immense difficulties during the hailstorm and rain and had to shelter themselves under nearby roofs.
The unprecedented spell of rains in the city is keeping citizens away from the heat wave. Rain and thunderstorm with hailstorm also compelled the citizens to enjoy the weather by visiting restaurants and other recreational places. A motorcyclist in Township said that he was trapped on the road due to the massive hailstorm adding that he has never seen continuous rains in April.
