All Pakistan Clerks Association of Larkana District observed a pen-down strike, staged a sit-in and held protest demonstration on Monday at Jinnah Bagh Roundabout against the annual budget 2016-17 presented in the Sindh Assembly.
The clerks said that no relief has been provided to them despite assurances and promises.
Rafique Jatoi, Sabir Soomro, Ahmed Khan Chandio and others said that they were assured of upgradation’s time scale for which the government functionaries also announced publicly but in the annual budget proposals, no such things exist which is unjust.
They said that same facilities have already been allowed to the clerks of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Azad Kashmir since last two years but it seems that Sindh is not a part of Pakistan as they have been step-motherly treated.
They termed the budget as anti-labour. They announced to start a struggle with immediate effect which will continue till their just demands are accepted.
