Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has termed the Sindh budget as people-friendly and balanced because it covers all development sectors. Health, education and law and order sectors have been given special priority. The minister said this in a statement issued on Sunday.
He said that Rs 160.5 billion for education and Rs 65.9 billion had been earmarked for health sectors which showed their commitment for bringing reforms in these vital sectors. The health minister added: “It has been a history that the PPP provided job opportunities to the unemployed youth and 50,000 new job opportunities will be created in the coming fiscal year.”
He said that opposition was crying for nothing over the budget because in current political scenario it was an excellent budget. He invited all stakeholders of the province to come forward and to work together for the betterment of the people of Sindh. Dahar said the PPP was committed to serving the masses and they would come up to the expectations of the people.
