In a series of raids conducted early Sunday, police arrested eight suspects including a woman and a Lyari gang war member from different areas of Karachi.
In Dalmia, police during a search operation arrested Lyari gang war member identified as Moosa. Meanwhile, police also detained 15 suspects for interrogation and shifted them to an unknown place. According to police, they arrested four suspects including a woman during a raid in Gulshan-i-Iqbal’s Azam Goth area. The suspects were wanted in several cases related to criminal activities.
In Boat Basin, police conducted a search operation and took into custody three suspects allegedly involved in street crimes. Near Ansari Bridge on Super Highway, a collision between two vehicles left three people injured. The rescue sources said that the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. In Baldia Town, a car hit a motorcycle which resulted in a man’s death.
