The bodies of two boys who drowned three days ago in Karachi Water and Sewerage Board’s (KWSB) water tank located in Abuzar Ghaffari Society have not been retrieved yet.
The boy identified as 19-year old Sheraz, who had jumped in the tank drowned in the deep water. His cousin, identified as Abdul Wahab, also jumped into the tank in an attempt to save Sheraz but also drowned. The area residents tried to retrieve the bodies but failed to do so.
The teams of Edhi volunteers have launched an operation to recover the bodies from the water board’s tank.
