US mulling Pakistan’s inclusion in NSG: State Dept

US State Department Deputy Spokesman Mark Toner has admitted that the US has different types of relations with Pakistan and India.

Talking to the media in Washington on Friday, Toner said that US relations with Pakistan are very important, but Haqqani Network is a challenge for both countries.

Mark Toner while replying to a question regarding US President Barack Obama’s backing for India to join Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) said that the nature of ties with Pakistan and India is different.

He also stated that the US is considering Islamabad’s inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers Group.
