Moon-sighting committees meet in Saudi Arabia, UAE today

Committees for the sighting of Ramazan moon will meet on Sunday (today) in Saudi Arabia and Gulf states.

Reports said the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has called on all Muslims across the Kingdom to sight the crescent of the holy month today evening and register their testimonies.

The committee will meet after Maghreb prayers today at the judicial Department in Abu Dhabi.

Similar committees will also meet in parts of America, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, and Singapore.

In Pakistan, the meetings of Zonal/Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will be held at their respective offices on Monday for the sighting of otherwise of the crescent of Ramzan , 1437 A.H.

The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be chaired by Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office, Karachi.
