Islamabad airport to remain closed for 6 hours on Monday

The runway of Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) Islamabad will remain closed on Monday due to operational reasons for six hours.

The runway will be closed from 1pm until 6pm, a press statement issued by Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) stated on Saturday.

PCAA has already issued a NOTAM (notice to airmen) to all the airlines regarding the closure of the runway at Islamabad airport.

Airlines have made adjustments to their flight schedule accordingly.

Passengers are advised that they may confirm their flight timings from their respective airlines in order to avoid any inconvenience.
